Quick answer
Treat a Horde attempt as a job-and-position test: assign who controls space, who handles a priority threat, who sustains the group and who calls a retreat. The official store description supports overwhelming Xenomorph encounters, class abilities and adaptation. It does not publish the current Horde rules, wave schedule or a permanent best composition.
Prepare one attempt
- Record the current mode label and difficulty.
- Agree on a defensive position and a fallback position.
- Assign each player one job before the first wave.
- Decide what event triggers a reset instead of a last-second scramble.
- After the attempt, record the wave/phase, failure point and class change you would test next.
This gives the team a repeatable comparison even if the mode changes after a patch.
Keep the mode answer separate
Use Co-op Roles for the team-job conversation. Use Difficulty and Challenge Cards when the variable is the challenge setting. Use Weapons and Loadouts when an ammo or weapon choice is the actual blocker.
What the store page does not provide
The current official description does not establish wave counts, spawn locations, reward tables, card modifiers, damage values or a guaranteed solo strategy. Do not copy a video route as a current default without matching its build and mode.
