Quick answer

Use Specialist to fill one named fireteam job, not to copy a permanent best build. The official Steam description calls Specialist fully customizable and says it can mix major and minor abilities from available classes. Choose one missing job, change one package and compare the result in the same kind of encounter.

Build around the missing job

  1. Name the problem: a lane is collapsing, a swarm is uncontrolled, a priority target survives, or the team cannot recover.
  2. Select one Specialist change intended to answer that problem.
  3. Keep the other players, mission and difficulty as stable as practical.
  4. Record what changed in survival, control, damage window or recovery.
  5. Revert or test one second change only after the first result is clear.

The point is not to create a universal ranking. It is to make the setup’s purpose visible so the team can decide whether the change solved the task.

Keep class and Specialist questions separate

Read Classes and Specialist when you are choosing a base team role. Use Co-op Roles when the team cannot agree on who owns the encounter job. If the setup is fine but the client fails, move to Crashing and Performance.

What needs the current client

The store description does not provide every major/minor ability, perk value, cooldown, valid combination, unlock condition or difficulty interaction. Those are high-risk build facts. A creator’s build can be a useful lead, but it is not an official default without current-build corroboration.
