Quick answer
Plan each early Breathedge 2 trip around the oxygen and temperature state visible in your current client. Leave room to return, keep the next task small and do not treat an old guide’s number as a current threshold. The official Steam page supports a survival/exploration loop, but it does not publish exact oxygen or temperature values.
Plan a short trip
- Name the single task: collect one resource, inspect one object or reach one safe point.
- Check the current oxygen and temperature indicators before leaving.
- Carry the item, tool or repair material the task actually needs.
- Turn back before the indicator becomes the only thing you are reacting to.
- Record the visible warning, location and result if the trip fails.
This creates a repeatable loop without pretending a universal route exists. If carrying capacity is the problem, continue to Inventory and Storage. If the next task requires a craft, use Crafting and Resources.
Separate pressure from exact thresholds
The store description establishes the broad survival setting and resource/crafting context. It does not establish the warning thresholds, drain rates, temperature zones, consumable duration or the safest distance for every current build. Those details need a current UI capture and a dated evidence record.
Common mistakes
- leaving for several tasks at once;
- changing oxygen, inventory and tools in the same experiment;
- copying a number without matching the current Early Access build; or
- treating a warning symptom as a confirmed bug.
