Quick answer
Treat base or outpost questions as a current-client check: record the construction prompt, available station, required input and resulting state before assuming a full base system exists. The official Steam page supports survival, exploration, crafting and repairs, but it does not document the complete Early Access construction scope.
Check what is actually available
- Open the current construction or station interface.
- Record the exact option and requirement shown.
- Decide whether the next task is storage, repair, crafting, power or travel.
- Make one change and confirm the visible result.
- Keep a screenshot/build note if the state is surprising.
This protects the page from presenting an imagined outpost tree as a current feature. For the next material decision, use Inventory and Storage; for a station blocker, use Power and Stations.
Early Access boundary
The public source does not establish the number of base modules, build limits, power network, outpost persistence, fast travel or exact construction recipes. Those are patch-sensitive facts. Keep them out of a general guide until current UI evidence answers each one.
Continue with exploration and locations
When the current outpost is usable, use Exploration and Locations to plan the next short trip.
