Quick answer

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam officially features the North Vietnamese Army and historically accurate weapons. The first-party launch and store pages do not publish a complete named NVA inventory, role binding, damage chart or attachment list. This page gives the source-backed faction answer and a live-client method for verifying item-level information without importing a different game’s arsenal.

What official sources confirm about NVA weapons

The official game page and current store listings identify the North Vietnamese Army as a playable faction and describe the weapon setting as historically accurate or authentic to the conflict. The official pages also describe NVA tunnel networks as a Vietnam-specific system. That supports the faction and systems context, but it does not print a complete NVA weapon database.

Use the weapons hub to keep faction evidence separate from named inventory evidence. The tunnel warfare guide explains the confirmed system boundary, while the roles page explains why a role roster is not automatically a weapon table.

How to verify an NVA weapon in the live build

Open the current faction and role screens and record the exact item name, the role or unit displayed with it, the platform, mode and build date. Keep a screenshot or first-party update with the observation if you intend to share a weapon relationship. Re-check after a patch because a historical name, faction filter or role assignment can change in the live client.

Do not combine separate claims into one shortcut. A source that confirms NVA faction identity does not automatically confirm a gun name; a gun name does not automatically confirm damage, capacity or the best role. Each relationship needs a current source and a clear version context.

What this page does not claim

The reviewed official pages do not establish every NVA gun name, a universal NVA-only inventory, weapon damage, recoil, magazine size, attachment route, spawn location or best weapon. They also do not prove one faction’s weapon set is stronger in every mode. A later item-level source can extend this page without changing the confirmed faction facts.

This boundary is deliberate. A plausible historical equipment list may look useful, but publishing it as the current HLL Vietnam roster would make the page less trustworthy if even one item belongs to another title, a beta build or a different faction.

Choose the next research step

Read the beginner guide to understand objectives before comparing weapons. Use the launch maps for terrain context and the roles hub for the current unit roster. If the client does not show an expected item, record the platform and symptom in Issues & Performance before inferring a faction rule.
